Meet Kayla

Hi, I’m Kayla - Founder of AKtivate Fitness Before I became a personal trainer, I was a professional BMX rider as a child. My life revolved around training, racing, and pushing limits. But like many people, things changed in high school. I stopped racing competitively, and over time, I gained weight and lost that active lifestyle that once defined me. After I matriculated, I took a gap year and made a decision to reclaim my health.

 

I joined a gym, started training again, and not only lost the weight - I rediscovered my confidence, strength, and passion for movement. I completely fell in love with the process. I didn’t want to lose the momentum I had found. More than that, I wanted to help others experience the same shift - not just physically, but mentally too. That’s how AKtivate Fitness was born.

 

I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, gain muscle, train around an injury, prep for a specific sport, or just move and feel better - I’m here to guide and support you. I believe fitness should be enjoyable, flexible, and sustainable.

It’s not about perfection or quick fixes. It’s about building habits, creating a lifestyle that works for you, and feeling strong and empowered in your own body. Let’s build that together.
